Tambourine

Janie and I went to music class today. She loves it. We bought out own maracas and tambourine for home and she really likes them. Here is a video of Janie with her tambourine!

Trip to St. Louis

Janie and her parents flew to St. Louis this weekend to see all of her cousins, aunts, uncles, and her grandparents.

Here is Janie getting ready to board the plane.

Janie was really good on the plane. In fact, when we got up to get off the plane, people were so surprised to see that a baby had been sitting near by. Mommy and daddy were very relieved.

Janie had fun playing with all of her relatives. So many people wanted to hold her that she barely touched the ground the whole time we were there!

Here is Janie with her Uncle Manne and her daddy.

We had a lot of fun but we're glad to be home!

Daddy love

Janie loves her daddy sooooo much. Everytime he comes into the room, she lights up and smiles. (I think she likes mommy too, by the way).

Frightful weather

The weather's been rather frightful lately. We've had snow, ice, sleet, rain and high winds. Today, on the other hand, is a beautiful sunny day and Janie and I are excited to see all of the snow melting!! Janie is still dressed for winter though.

Bath time!

Janie needed a bath today due to all of the pureed pears that ended up on her face rather than in her mouth tonight at dinner. She had a good time getting clean.

Solid foods.....

Janie has started on solid foods. So far, she's really not interested. We're trying rice cereal, bananas, pears, sweet peas, sweet potatoes, and squash. As soon as she sees the spoon coming, she clamps her mouth shut but this morning she grabbed the spoon from me and fed herself!

Hello!

Here's Janie! More to come.....
