Janie put on her favorite polka-dot outfit today because her Auntie Rachel was coming to visit. She was very excited!!

Learning to crawl??

Janie seems to be on the verge of crawling and her mommy and daddy are trying to help her along, but she always ends up on her belly!

Lulu the lamb

Janie had a visit today from her pal Lulu the lamb. She had fun trying to poke Lulu in the eye and then sitting on her. We're not sure if Lulu is going to want to come back to play.

Spring!

Today it was pretty warm outside so Janie decided she wanted to put on her spring hat. Her friend Emme has one just like it and Janie wanted one, so her mommy got her one. She was so excited to wear it that she couldn't stop laughing.....

Have passport - Will travel

Miss Janie's passport for our trip to Aruba arrived today. She is really excited to leave the country and check out what all of the Aruban babies are wearing this season.

Sign language..and pickles

Janie had her first Baby Sign Language class today. We learned signs for milk, eat, drink, more, and no more. Janie hasn't quite grasped the concept yet, so we don't have pictures. But, Janie did grasp a pickle yesterday and wouldn't let go. She took little bites of it and chewed on it for hours.

Someone is ticklish

Recently, we've discovered that Janie is ticklish. In particular, little tiny kisses all over her face make Janie laugh and laugh.

Janie can clap her hands!

Daddy has been trying to teach Janie 'Patty Cake' and today she finally started clapping. She doesn't really make any noise yet, but at least she can bring her two hands together. Now she does it all the time!

Eating Carrots

Miss Janie had carrots for lunch today. She fed herself and made a monumental mess!

More snow....

We had more snow here again this morning and we needed to run some errands, so we got Janie geared up in her Eskimo suit and polar bear ears. Janie thinks snow is permanent ground cover. I don't think she's ever really seen grass.
