Janie had a fantastic time on our trip, from the moment we left the ground, in fact. Turns out, Janie likes to fly. She loves to play peek-a-boo with the people in the row behind her. Fortunately, the people on both flights were more than happy to play. One of the stewards gave Janie her wings because she was such a good passenger.

Mommy and daddy liked playing with Janie by the pool. It was so warm and breezy.







But Janie hated wearing her sun hats!




And Janie also really liked playing inside too!







But she especially loved taking naps by the pool.

We're back!

We arrived home from Aruba late last night. We had a fantastic time. I have a million pictures to share but also a million things to do around here before I can get to them. Here are a few.

Walking

No, no, Janie isn't walking. But, it was warm enough today for us to take a walk outside and we had a great time. We even sat in the side yard and played with the flowers. Janie started out in the stroller but quickly convinced her daddy that she'd much prefer to be carried. He's a sucker :)

Visit from Grandad!!

Janie's grandad came to visit over the weekend. She had lots of fun with him. He read her books, listened to music and danced with her, and even got to see her very first crawl! She was sad to see him go but she knows he'll be back soon (with more presents!!).

Crawling

Janie started crawling this weekend. It was very exciting! Here are two short videos of her silly crawl. Notice at the end of the first video how she sticks out her left leg when she's done, sort of like a kick-stand.

Rockin'

Check out Janie on her rocking giraffe. She loves it and so far she's only slid off and bumped her head a couple of times. Bad mommy.

Janie has a new dance that she's been doing lately - she bobs and weaves her head - it's hilarious!

We're just starting to wear shoes around here and Janie is not quite sure what to do with them. She's quick to tear them off and she'd really rather play with them and chew on them than wear them. But, mommy thinks they're cute.
